Life Coach
Susan Taylor came to Structure House after over 12 years of experience in private practice in Ridgewood, NJ, specializing in holistic mind-body wellness, life transitions, eating psychology, and grief.
At Structure House, Susan is thrilled to be teaching the “What’s Eating You?” class, focused on understanding and improving our complex relationship with food. She also provides ongoing individual Life Coaching and facilitates Support Groups. Her professional and personal life has shaped her heart-centered, compassionate approach to coaching. She began her career in the corporate world, later spending time as a teacher. When her son began suffering from an auto-immune condition, she immersed herself in functional nutrition and holistic health. After a major life transition, she pursued coaching full-time and established a private practice. Susan received her initial training at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City. She is a Certified Health Coach by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and the MacDonald Center for Obesity Prevention & Education at Villanova University College of Nursing. She is certified as an Eating Psychology Coach by the Institute for the Psychology of Eating.
Additionally, Susan is trained in Dr. McCubbery’s Eating Disorder Intuitive Therapy (EDIT) and certified as an Eating Disorder Recovery Coach. She is also a Certified Mental Wellness Coach through Marietta College. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from St. Lawrence University and an M.B.A. from New York University.
